          This is the Marigold Society.

Roses and orchids are weak and their days are numbered. Marigolds, however, are the future. they are life and death and the in-between. they have traveled in the pockets of colonizers, from the americas across every sea and rooted themselves in the most unwelcoming of landscapes. They are unstoppable and they will be spreading their influence long after you have returned to the soil. We need a union of individuals of a different caliber, people who act as emissaries between the marigold world and the human world. This is not your grandma's garden club. OK, maybe it is if your grandma is really tough, and most are.

We are here to grow marigolds, to exchange marigolds, to cross marigolds with one another and over borders and seas. WE are here to help all people embrace the path of the marigold.

This is a society for everyone. There is no fee. There is no mailing list. there is no seed catalog. there is no Gregorian flower photo calendar for sale. There is no competition to show off human breeding prowess or award medals to the most inbred and manipulated blossoms. This is another kind of society where the only requirement is undying loyalty to the propagation and advancement of marigolds all over the world. 

To join, the only requirement is to pledge to

1) advance the understanding and appreciation of marigolds whenever and wherever possible

2) grow marigolds whenever and wherever possible

3) pester your friends and relatives, if you have any, to grow and appreciate marigolds

to participate in the free exchange of marigold seeds Send us your mailing address in a message below to receive a packet of marigold seeds. plant them. Send us your marigold seeds in return and they will be sent anonymously to other society members all over the world, and on and on into eternity.
